The Sustainability and Innovation Centre of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) recently welcomed a delegation from Hong Kong Metropolitan University, underscoring DEWA's global leadership in clean energy innovation. The visit showcased DEWA's commitment to renewable and clean energy initiatives in line with the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer highlighted the Centre's role as an innovation hub, aiming to position Dubai as a global clean energy and green economy epicenter. Dr Aaesha Alnuaimi presented key projects, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the Green Hydrogen Project, and the EV Green Charger Initiative.
