Exploring Hydrogen Potential and Rare Earth Mineralization in British Columbia
Key Ideas
  • Primary Hydrogen Corp. is launching an exploration program for the Wicheeda North project in British Columbia to assess natural hydrogen potential and rare earth element (REE) mineralization.
  • The program will involve soil and soil-gas sampling, property-wide geophysics, and airborne electromagnetic survey to identify potential resource zones within the Project area.
  • The Project's location within a geological belt known for REE mineralization, alongside the proximity to the Wicheeda Rare Earths Project, indicates significant mineralization potential.
  • Initial focus will be on two prominent target areas, Grid A and Grid D, to expand soil sampling and geochemical analysis for better defining the extent of mineralization.
Primary Hydrogen Corp. has announced an initial exploration program for the Wicheeda North project in British Columbia. The Program will focus on evaluating natural hydrogen potential and rare earth element (REE) mineralization. The first phase will involve soil and soil-gas sampling, property-wide geophysics, and airborne electromagnetic survey to identify potential resource zones within the Project area. The Project, located within the Rocky Mountain Trench, is recognized for hosting carbonatite intrusions which are the host for REE mineralization. The proximity to the Wicheeda Rare Earths Project, with significant mineral resources, further reinforces the potential of the Wicheeda North project. Historical studies have identified seven targets based on magnetic anomalies and elevated levels of cesium in rock and soil samples. Grid A and Grid D are the initial focus areas for expanding soil sampling and geochemical analysis to better define mineralization extent. This exploration program signifies a positive step towards uncovering the hydrogen potential and rare earth mineralization in British Columbia.
