Infinium has initiated the construction of Project Roadrunner, a large-scale eFuels production facility in Pecos, Texas, with the backing of investors such as Brookfield Asset Management and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst. This project, set to be the world's largest eFuels plant once operational, aims to produce sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) and other eFuel products, supporting global aviation leaders like American Airlines and IAG. In addition to fuel production, Project Roadrunner will create skilled jobs, foster economic growth in the region, and enhance the U.S.'s position in energy security and innovation. eFuels, synthetic fuels produced from waste CO2 and renewable energy, offer a sustainable alternative for the transportation and chemicals sectors.
