The Solar Colloquium 2025 held in Jülich brought together industry experts and researchers to explore innovative solar processes for sustainable industrial applications. Prof. Dr. Kent Warren from ETH Zurich discussed an efficient approach to synthesizing sustainable fuels using solar thermochemistry, highlighting the potential of solar technologies in decarbonizing the chemical industry. Presentations included advancements in hydrogen production, HELIOSOL® heat transfer fluids for CSP, and the operational success of Synhelion SA's solar fuel plant. Additionally, Stéphane Boulanger introduced a modular CSP concept for continuous green electricity and heat production.
