Quebec Innovative Materials Corp. (QIMC) and Q Precious & Battery Metals Corp. (QMET) have successfully completed an initial geological reconnaissance program for natural hydrogen exploration in Nova Scotia. The program, led by QIMC, identified critical geological fault zones and key structural features for targeted exploration. Phase 2, set to start in July, will involve extensive soil gas sampling to detect hydrogen, methane, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide. The collaboration with the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) will utilize real-time data interpretation to target high-grade hydrogen zones. The participation of the Temiscamingue First Nations in the initiative is highlighted, showcasing a collaborative effort.
