The tender includes solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, sightseeing vehicles, boats, and shared bicycles, with an estimated total value of 32.8 million yuan. This initiative is part of Peixian County's efforts to boost its hydrogen energy industry, aligning with the Jiangsu Provincial NDRC's proposal to support the development of a hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing base in the county. The project aims to integrate hydrogen energy with the construction machinery sector, particularly in Xuzhou, and attract key projects related to hydrogen compressors, circulation pumps, and storage cylinders. By partnering with XCMG Group for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, Peixian County aims to establish a unique hydrogen energy industrial cluster. The support measures outlined in the proposal focus on research and policy formulation, advancing large-scale hydrogen production, and facilitating the adoption of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. The procurement project prohibits consortium bidding, emphasizing a direct engagement with suppliers to meet the specific hydrogen vehicle and bike requirements in Peixian County.
