ACME Group has confirmed its commitment to establishing a green hydrogen and ammonia project in Gopalpur, Odisha, India, located within Tata SEZ. The project aims to produce 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually and is progressing well under the supervision of Anil Kumar Taparia, the COO of ACME Green Hydrogen SBU. Plans are in place to export the entire green ammonia output from 2029 onwards, further solidifying ACME's position in the global clean energy supply chain. The project is also set to create more than 1,000 employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly. In parallel, HDF Energy, together with Indonesian entities, is working on financing mechanisms for hydrogen and ammonia projects in Indonesia, highlighting the strategic importance of hydrogen in the country's energy mix.
