In a significant move towards sustainable energy production, India's Coal India Limited (CIL) and AM Green have entered into a partnership for the supply of 4500 MW of carbon-free energy to AM Green's upcoming ammonia facilities. AM Green, led by Anil Chalamalasetty, aims to become a cost-competitive producer of green hydrogen and green ammonia on a global scale. The company plans to produce 5 million tons per annum of green ammonia by 2030, contributing substantially to India's green hydrogen targets.
