ITM Power PLC has partnered with Uniper for a green hydrogen project, aiming to produce green hydrogen using renewable electricity and water. ITM Power, based in the United Kingdom, specializes in designing and manufacturing electrolysis based on proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology. The company offers electrolyzer products in various sizes, ranging from two megawatts (MW) to over 100 MW, to meet the diverse needs of its customers. Some of ITM Power's electrolyzer solutions include TRIDENT, a PEM electrolyzer stack technology; NEPTUNE, a fully autonomous electrolyzer system that can be easily deployed as a complete package; and POSEIDON, a 20 MW modular building block suitable for large-scale projects. These modular solutions allow for efficient scale-up with optimized footprints and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The partnership between ITM Power and Uniper reflects a positive step towards advancing green hydrogen technology and sustainability in the energy industry.
