Dynapower, a part of Sensata Technologies, has introduced the MV Integrated PowerSkid™, a new utility-scale product designed for medium-voltage applications in renewable energy sectors. The PowerSkid™ combines efficient CPS-2500 converters with a medium-voltage step-up transformer, offering a compact solution for various applications including renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and green hydrogen sectors. The product is aimed at streamlining installation and improving efficiency in large-scale utility projects, data centers, standalone energy storage, and high-voltage electrolyzer applications. The PowerSkid™ arrives on a single galvanized steel platform container within a 20' ISO high cube, simplifying the integration process and ensuring maximum uptime with its medium-voltage transformer. Dr. Chris Dennison, Product Line Manager at Dynapower, mentioned that the new CPS-2500 converters are ideal for data centers, large-scale storage integration, and power-to-X (P2X) projects like green hydrogen electrolysis.
