Norwegian owner More Sjo has made a groundbreaking move by ordering what is believed to be the world's first hydrogen-powered bulkers. Designed by Naval Dynamics, these coastal vessels are set to revolutionize the maritime industry by utilizing fuel cells and compressed hydrogen as their primary source of energy. The 4,000-dwt units are scheduled to be delivered by Gelibolu Shipyard in Turkey in 2027.
