This message was delivered at the 2025 edition of the Africa Gas Innovation Summit in Abuja, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Nigeria Council. The summit focused on the theme 'Building a Resilient African Gas Economy Through Innovation and Collaboration'. Minister Ekpo highlighted the importance of fostering African home-grown solutions, research in low-carbon technologies, and support for startups in the energy sector.
