Corinth Pipeworks has secured a series of substantial contracts from Snam, an Italian energy infrastructure company, for the production and supply of over 180 kilometers of pipeline for the Adriatica project in Italy. This project is considered one of the country's most significant gas transportation initiatives in recent years and is set to enhance Italy's natural gas network. The contracts involve the manufacturing of 48-inch and 56-inch diameter steel pipes made from L450ME grade, capable of transporting up to 100% hydrogen, reflecting an innovative outlook towards Italy's energy infrastructure. The General Manager at Corinth Pipeworks, Ilias Bekiros, expressed his gratitude for the contract awards and emphasized the company's dedication to excellence in the energy sector. The manufacturing process will include hydrogen-compatible pipes with advanced testing facilities in Greece, ensuring the suitability of the pipes for future energy demands.
