Provaris Energy Ltd, in collaboration with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd ('K' LINE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop hydrogen carriers H2Neo and H2Leo for the European market. These solutions aim to support the increasing demand for low-emission fuel sources in Europe, with a focus on hydrogen transport and infrastructure. The H2Neo Carrier and H2Leo Barge are designed for regional marine-based hydrogen delivery and near-shore storage, respectively, meeting advanced safety and environmental standards. 'K' LINE will provide operational and technical expertise to the project, leveraging its extensive experience in the maritime industry. The partnership is expected to strengthen Provaris' position in the international hydrogen logistics sector as compressed hydrogen gains popularity for energy distribution. This collaboration follows Provaris' previous agreements with German energy firms and their work on liquid carbon dioxide storage technology, showcasing the company's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
