Adani Group has marked a significant achievement by commissioning India's first off-grid 5MW green hydrogen plant in Kutch, Gujarat. Developed by Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), a clean energy arm of Adani Enterprises Ltd., the plant represents a crucial milestone in India's pursuit of clean and self-sufficient energy solutions. By generating hydrogen through electrolysis powered by solar energy, the facility operates independently of the conventional power grid. This development is in line with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and aims to set new standards for off-grid and renewable-powered green hydrogen applications across high-emission sectors. Green hydrogen, produced using electricity from renewable sources, is a clean fuel that emits only water vapor when utilized.
