Key Ideas
  • KP Group and Delta Electronics India signed three MoUs to advance clean energy infrastructure in India, focusing on battery storage, green hydrogen, EV charging, and solar inverters.
  • The partnership aims to develop scalable and future-ready energy solutions, with KP Group leading project development and site integration while Delta provides power electronics and technologies.
  • The agreements include plans for green hydrogen plants, EV charging hubs, and supply of 1 GW of solar inverters, showcasing a comprehensive approach towards clean energy adoption.
  • The collaboration between these key players in renewable energy and energy management will not only drive decarbonization but also contribute to sustainable mobility goals in India.
KP Group, a renewable energy conglomerate based in Surat, India, has entered into three strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. to bolster the country's green energy transition. The partnership between the two entities spans various sectors crucial for clean energy infrastructure. Under the first MoU, KP Group will oversee the project development and site integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with Delta providing power electronics, energy management systems, and support for monitoring and diagnostics. The second MoU focuses on green hydrogen and EV charging infrastructure, with plans for the development of green hydrogen plants powered by renewable energy and the provision of hydrogen compression, dispensing equipment, and EV charging systems by Delta. Additionally, the companies will collaborate on skills development for station operations. The third MoU entails Delta supplying 1 GW of advanced grid-connected solar inverters to KP Group, with features like grid support and remote diagnostics. KP Group, with a track record of developing over 5.75 GW of renewable energy assets, aims to leverage Delta's global experience in clean energy technologies, particularly in EV chargers. Together, they plan to establish pilot hydrogen ecosystems, accelerate clean energy adoption, and contribute to India's decarbonization and sustainable mobility objectives.
