The chief minister highlighted Ganjam's emergence as a dynamic industrial destination, attributing it to robust infrastructure, a strategically located port, and a skilled workforce. The projects at Gopalpur Industrial Park include green hydrogen and ammonia production, solar cell and module manufacturing, and specialty chemicals production. These projects are expected to boost industrial growth and sustainability in the region. Notably, the green hydrogen and ammonia produced will primarily cater to export markets, solidifying GIP's position as a significant green hydrogen hub in India. The event was attended by key state ministers, industry stakeholders, and government officials, who emphasized the collaborative efforts and support from the Odisha government in driving industrial development. Saatvik Solar Industries and World Green Energy are set to establish large-scale solar cell and module manufacturing facilities, further establishing Ganjam as a green energy hub.
