Rehlko has signed an exclusive agreement with Toyota Motor North America to supply hydrogen-powered fuel cell modules for integration into Rehlko's stationary power generator products. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards enhancing energy resilience by merging Rehlko's energy solutions with Toyota's established fuel cell technology. The partnership, announced at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo, aims to deliver cleaner, reliable, and more sustainable energy solutions that can adapt to customers' needs and promote smart, energy-independent mobility. Thibaut de Barros Conti, Toyota Hydrogen Solutions general manager, expressed excitement about working with Rehlko to build robust energy solutions using Toyota's scalable fuel cell technology. The joint efforts seek to match the operational standards of conventional generators while offering a zero-emission alternative for powering critical facilities such as data centers and warehouses. Rehlko's president, Charles Hunsucker, highlighted the significance of the 1MW fuel cell generator in advancing energy resilience for mission-critical customers by reducing local emissions to zero. The collaboration initially manifested in a 100kW hydrogen fuel cell power generation system at Klickitat Valley Health, demonstrating the technology's practicality in reinforcing electrical infrastructure. Looking ahead, the companies are developing a commercialized 1MW system to meet the increasing demand for larger-scale power solutions, with Rehlko focusing on system development and Toyota providing fuel cell technology.
