The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has launched Round 2 of its Hydrogen Headstart program by releasing a consultation paper. This initiative aims to support and accelerate the development of hydrogen projects in Australia. ARENA is allocating AUD 432 million to Orica's Hunter Valley Hydrogen Hub (HVHH), showing a significant investment in the hydrogen sector. Additionally, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has successfully secured AUD 814 million for the Murchison Green Hydrogen project, further boosting the growth of hydrogen infrastructure. The Australian government has also joined in supporting hydrogen development by announcing a AUD 750 million package to foster the sector's expansion.
