This initiative aims to support market integrity and boost investor confidence by ensuring adherence to global benchmarks. The state's long-term strategy, the Sarawak Hydrogen Economy Roadmap (SHER), focuses on becoming a cost-effective and scalable hydrogen producer through continuous technological advancement. Additionally, Sarawak is exploring the establishment of a common certification platform that could be adopted at both ASEAN and international levels. Premier Abang Johari stressed the need for strong drivers like governance, infrastructure, financing, and workforce development to position Sarawak as a regional leader in the green hydrogen sector.
