The company signed a Power Purchase Agreement at a competitive tariff of ₹2.56 per kWh, underlining its commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure in India. Additionally, NTPC Green Energy has ventured into a partnership with Honeywell Automation India to investigate the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in India. This collaboration aims to utilize Honeywell's eFining technology to create SAF from carbon dioxide captured at NTPC power plants and green hydrogen, thereby enhancing NTPC's green fuel portfolio.
