Arctech, a global leader in solar tracking, racking, and BIPV solutions, has entered into a strategic contract with ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a Renewable Energy Company in India, to supply 175 MWp of solar trackers for the 300 MTPD Green Ammonia Project in Duqm, Oman. The project, located in a region with high solar insolation and favorable climate for utility-scale solar projects, will use Arctech's advanced tracking system to support a large-scale green hydrogen production facility. Oman's push towards renewable energy, as seen through initiatives like the recent CSP project in Duqm, aims to have 35–39% of electricity sourced from renewables by 2040. This partnership not only showcases Arctech's expertise in enabling renewable energy megaprojects but also highlights Oman's commitment to being a key player in the global energy transition. The collaboration signifies a significant step towards industrial decarbonization by integrating solar power with next-gen hydrogen fuel technologies, setting new standards in clean energy integration. The deployment of solar trackers designed for harsh environments demonstrates confidence in achieving optimal energy efficiency and reliability under challenging coastal and high-wind site conditions.
