Charbone Hydrogen Corporation, listed under TSX-V:CH and OTCQB:CHHYF, has announced a collaboration with Green Hydrogen ASIAPAC SDN BHD to support the development of Malaysia's first ultra-high purity hydrogen production facility. The plant, based on Charbone's modular production model, will be part of a decentralized ecosystem targeting local end-users and could later expand to other Asia-Pacific markets. Charbone will contribute project development expertise in various areas like site selection, engineering, and supplier identification. In return, the company will receive a one-time fee or equity investment, aiming to diversify its revenue streams globally through similar collaborations. CEO Dave Gagnon highlighted the significance of this agreement in recognizing Charbone's efforts in creating a sustainable ecosystem beyond the North American market. The Chairman of Green Hydrogen ASIAPAC, Kamshul Kasim, praised the partnership as a significant milestone in Malaysia's clean energy transition, stating that Charbone's modular and decentralized approach aligns with the vision to promote green hydrogen adoption. Charbone is also in talks for similar agreements in other regions as part of its global expansion strategy.
