UK-based YamnaCo has signed an MoU with NREDCAP to develop a significant green hydrogen and ammonia project in Andhra Pradesh, India. The project aims to establish a phased grid-connected green ammonia facility with a capacity of up to 1 million ton per annum near Krishnapatnam port. Leveraging the state's port infrastructure, the project targets both domestic and international markets in Europe and Asia. With an estimated investment of around $1.85 billion, the initiative is expected to generate about 5,500 direct and indirect jobs in the region.
