The truck is powered by a 180kW hydrogen fuel cell system, equipped with a 72kWh battery pack, and boasts a driving range of up to 450 miles under optimal conditions with 10 hydrogen tanks. It also includes a comprehensive ADAS suite to enhance safety and minimize driver fatigue.
Hyundai emphasized its commitment to clean logistics and sustainability through various partnerships and initiatives in North America. The company highlighted the NorCAL ZERO Project, where 30 Xcient fuel cell trucks are in operation at the Ports of Oakland and Richmond, conducting zero-tailpipe emission freight transportation.
