AEG Power Solutions has secured a major 4-year framework agreement with Gasunie in the Netherlands to power the Dutch Hydrogen Backbone. The agreement involves the delivery, installation, and maintenance of approximately 150 high-reliability uninterruptible power supply systems for Gasunie's metering & regulation stations, mingle stations, and future hydrogen delivery stations. These systems, including 1-phase and 3-phase Protect 8 PLUS UPS systems with Sodium Metal Chloride (SMC) batteries, are crucial for ensuring operational continuity in the hydrogen transport infrastructure. The project aligns with Gasunie's mission to facilitate large-scale green hydrogen transport by repurposing the existing natural gas infrastructure. AEG Power Solutions' technology was chosen for its technical excellence, reliability, safety standards compliance, and long-term sustainability support.
