eCap Marine has announced agreements to provide hydrogen fuel cell systems for four zero-emission vessels being constructed for Norwegian companies Møre Sjø and Samskip. The vessels will be equipped with various MW hydrogen fuel cells, with deliveries expected in 2027. Additionally, John Cockerill has successfully acquired part of McPhy's assets in France after the latter filed for bankruptcy protection. This move aims to integrate McPhy's expertise into John Cockerill Hydrogen for accelerating electrolyzer development. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger (MHIET) has introduced a new gas cogeneration system capable of co-firing hydrogen up to 15% by volume, showcasing advancements in hydrogen technology. Moreover, HysetCo has collaborated to enhance the distribution capacity of the hydrogen station at Paris-Orly airport, reaching 1 ton per day with support from various entities and programs.
