Recognizing Odisha's potential in the Green Hydrogen sector, Sarangi highlighted the interest of domestic investors in projects like Green Ammonia and Green Methanol around key ports. The focus was on addressing challenges in developing large-scale Green Hydrogen projects in areas like Gopalpur, involving central ministries and developers. Additionally, initiatives under PMSG: MBY for rooftop solar adoption and agricultural solarization were reviewed, leading to directives for faster solar installations and feeder level solarization. Sarangi's active role signifies a strategic approach by MNRE to leverage Odisha's potential for renewable energy, combining industrial projects with citizen-centric solar initiatives.
