Metacon's subsidiary Metacon SA, located in Patras, Greece, has secured a substantial order for a technical feasibility study from a leading U.S.-based multinational chemical manufacturing company. The study, valued at EUR 210,000, is intended to assess the potential utilization of Metacon's proprietary HIWAR® reactor technology in chemical production processes. This initiative marks a strategic move to expand the application of Metacon's core technology beyond hydrogen production. The primary focus of the feasibility study is to investigate sustainable alternatives for manufacturing high-value chemical compounds while aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and other unwanted byproducts typically associated with conventional methods. The evaluation will center on Metacon's HIWAR® reactor, originally designed for hydrogen production processes, to determine its adaptability and efficiency in the new industrial setting outlined by the client.
