Arctech, a leading global provider of solar tracking solutions, has secured a strategic contract with ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a prominent Renewable Energy Company in India, for the supply of 175 MWp of solar trackers to support the 300 MTPD Green Ammonia Project in Duqm, Oman. The project aims to leverage Arctech's advanced tracking technology, the Signature 1P Single Axis Solar Tracking System Skyline II, specifically designed for harsh environments, to power one of the initial large-scale green hydrogen production facilities in the region. As Oman focuses on increasing its renewable energy capacity, initiatives like the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) project in Duqm demonstrate the country's commitment to achieving a substantial percentage of electricity from renewables by 2040. The collaboration between Arctech and ACME Cleantech signifies a significant step towards industrial decarbonization by integrating solar power with next-generation hydrogen fuel technologies.
