InterContinental Energy, a leader in green fuels development, has unveiled its innovative P2(H2)NodeTM system in Australia. This patented modular system integrates electrolysis plants with wind and solar farms, revolutionizing green hydrogen production by eliminating the need for long-distance electricity transmission. Developed over four years in Perth, the system is designed to reduce capital expenditure and increase operational efficiency, making large-scale green hydrogen production economically viable. The system's decentralized, modular design allows for efficient deployment in various settings, supporting giga-scale projects like the Western Green Energy Hub in partnership with CWP and Mirning Green Energy. By co-locating hydrogen production with renewable energy sources, the Node system will drive down production costs for green ammonia and e-fuels, supporting decarbonisation efforts in hard-to-abate sectors.
